3 ELITE PLAYERS SELECTED FOR BARNSLEY F.C TRIAL

We would like to wish Under 11 Elite players Ellis Caton and Noah Harding and Under 13 Elite player Rio Evans the best of luck with their 6 week trial with Barnsley.

The lads have shown a great attitude and a willingness to listen and learn in every training session and more than deserve their opportunity with a professional club.

Good luck lads.

This adds up to 5 boys currently on trial with professional clubs with many more already selected. The work with Pro Player aims to help improve their confidence and ability to go and shine with professional academies and its testament to our coaches and the boys themselves that a there are players being constantly selected.

NEXT DEVELOPMENT GAMES

The next set of games for the development group will be played on the following dates. One or two of the groups training times for the week they have no game may have to be moved back/forward an hour but we will confirm closer to the time. We will also request availability after the half term break. The under 11’s will split into 2 groups where half will play one week and the other half the week after.

All games to be played at Kettlethorpe

Friday November 13th –

5.45pm KO –  Under 7/8 v Frickley (NOW POSTPONED)

5.45pm KO –  Under 9’s v Frickley

7.00pm KO –   Under 11’s v Frickley

8.00pm KO –   Under 13’s v Frickley

 

Friday November 20th –

5.45pm KO –  Under 10’s v Thornes

7.00pm KO –  Under 11’s v Frickley

PRO PLAYER ELITE GAMES V DONCASTER F.C. DEVELOPMENT

We can now announce the next set of fixtures for the Elite group. The following games will take place at The Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster with 6.30pm KO.

Monday 12th October

Under 10’s, 12’s and 14’s

 

Monday 19th October

Under 11’s, 13’s, 15’s

The Under 9 group will host Tadcaster Albion at Kettlethorpe School on this date (6.30pm KO).

We will check on availability through the Team App next week.

 

The Development groups next set of fixtures will be released later this week.

We are pleased to announce that we will be running a course during the October holiday. The 3 day courses will take place on Tuesday 27th October – Thursday 29th October at Kettlethorpe High School.

SEPTEMBER DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

September sees the return of the Elite and Development group training. We have re-formatted the Mini Academy which will now take place on a Sunday. We also have a series of games organised as the Elite group visit York City Academy and the Development group host Durkar Devils

 

Wednesday 2nd September – Elite groups Under 9,11 and 13’s away at York City Academy. 5.30 KO

Friday 4th September 6-9pm – Development group restart training/ launch of Under 7 & Under 8 groups (free taster sessions)

Sunday 6th September 9.30-10.30am – Mini Academy free taster session

Monday 7th September 6-9pm – Elite group restart training

Wednesday 9th September – Elite groups Under 10,12,14/15’s away at York City Academy. 5.30pm

Friday 11th September – Development group v Durkar Devils. KO times to be confirmed
