Kingsley started his career at Sheffield United where he progressed through the Academy to appearing in the first team.

From Sheffield United he signed for Port Vale and spent two years with the club before moving to Hereford United on loan and then on a permanent basis. Kingsley was forced to leave Hereford as the club was liquidated and signed for Chester where he was selected for the England C squad.

Kingsley then left Chester for FC Halifax town in the summer of 2015. He played for the club at Wembley in the FA Trophy final before signing for Macclesfield at the beginning of 2016-17 season. As a level 2 qualified coach he has coached at Sheffield United, Port Vale and Hereford United with a number of age groups in their academy teams.
