INTRODUCTION

In order to maximise the coaching that the players are receiving from Pro Player Football Academy, we feel that the players need to increase the amount of time they spend practicing the techniques and skills they have learnt in training. Therefore, we have designed home assignments for the players to complete on a weekly basis.

 

The home assignments will be a series of realistic exercises that the player can practice by themselves with minimal equipment and space. The assignments will mainly focus on ball mastery but may also include some technical, tactical, physiological and psychological components aswell.

 

The idea of the home assignment is so we can prescribe homework at the end of a session that will embed the skills and ideas we have worked on and also introduce the player to the skills they will need for the following session. The home assignment will also be the pre practice routine for the following training session.
